With less land available for development.modern city cherishes it as gold, then it requires power facilities to occupy less land. In this paper, experimental and theoretical study are carried on double wire frame.It uses the experimental model of1:5,and designs synchronous loading system.Then it obtains the failure mode of the double wire frame and suggestion of joint reinforcement. This provides scientific and rational basis for the design. Experiment shows the final failure mode of the frame is the destruction of rail and supervisor tube joint. So the paper put forward that filling the supervisor tube with dense concrete improves the bearing capacity of the joint.This paper builds the finite element numerical analysis model of the double wire frame, then the analysis results are compared with the experiment results, and the similarity shows the reliability of the experiment results.From the numerical analysis model results,we know the most dangerous point is the underside fixed point. So we consider that changing the structural style is to reduce the point bending moment.
