In recent years, as our country rapid development in highway construction,highway tunnelas the focus of the development impact of highway construction,its support structure is the focusof research in in which to achieve security、 economic、reasonable.This paper first describes the theoretical development status of support,and analysis thetheory and method of the force on the tunnel wall rock,and introduces the method and thecharacteristics of the supporting structure.According to cheng chi high-speed projectexamples,the two cross-sections is selected from the Ⅳ level rock section. The design of sitemonitoring measurementsthe on inverted arch tunnel section and flat bottom tunnel about sectionsupporting structure. the rock pressure, the bolt axial force and the force of steel support ismonitored and monitoring data is dealed with.It is established the flat-bottomed tunnel modeland the invert model tunnel by FLAC3D. According to the results of analysis of each bolt axialforce and surrounding rock stress and to compare and contrast compared with measured results.Then the displacement and second liner stress of the two models is analysis. The optimizedsupport measures have been proposed according to the analysis results. Setting two liner andcancel invert as the construction of the recommendations have been proposed in the subsequentconstruction.
