Wood-plastic composite material (Wood Plastics Composites, referred to as WPC) is based on wood fiber and plant fiber (such as wood powder, straw, cotton stalk powder, bamboo powder, fruit powder) as the main component, after pretreatment with the thermoplastic resin (PE, PP, PVC, PS etc.) or other materials combined into a new environment-friendly composite material.In this paper, we chose the different ways of interface treatment to apply into the wood-plastic composite material preparation, using modern analysis and testing technology and traditional experiment methods, we fond the influence of processing methods of maleic anhydride, coupling agent, alkali treatment on structure and properties of composites. The results of this paper show that:(1) By using the method of mixing, molding, with wheat straw powder and high density polyethylene as matrix, the maleic anhydride is added to prepare a series of HDPE wood-plastic composite materials, the effects of different kinds of maleic anhydride content on the mechanical properties, physical properties and water absorption.The results show: when the adding quantity of maleic anhydride was5%, the mechanical properties and physical properties of optimal.(2) On wheat straw powder and high density polyethylene matrix was modified by silane coupling agent KH-570, variable prepared a series of HDPE/WF composites with coupling agent content, studied the influence of different content of coupling agent on the mechanical properties, physical properties of the sample, water absorption and so on.The result shows:when the coupling agent addition is3%, the sample get optimal mechanical properties and physical properties.(3) With the straw powder soaked with NaOH using the same variable concentration, we prepared a series of HDPE wood-plastic composite material with time, studied the effects of different soaking time on the mechanical properties, physical properties, water absorption etc..The results show that:when the soaking time is2h, the mechanical and physical properties of optimal. (4) With the straw soaked in different concentration of NaOH was modified by the same time, we studied the effects of different concentration of NaOH on mechanical properties, physical properties, water absorption etc. The results show:when the solution concentration was10%, the mechanical properties and physical properties of optimal, with the increase of NaOH concentration, sample hydrophilic weakened.
