| White light emitting diodes(W-LEDs) becomes the important research direction of "Green Illumination" and attracts widespread attention.Under the back ground of W-LED application, the optical properties of Eu3+/Tb3+/Sm3+doped borosilicate glasses were studied.Eu3+/Tb3+/Sm3+doped borosilicate glasses are prepared by fusion method under high temperature. Through the spectrum properties test, the influence of doped amount of rare earth, B2O3content and alkali metal oxide(R.2O) in borosilicate glasses were studied.The research results indicated that:the optical properties of rare earth doped glasses were not only related to the description and concentration and rare earth ion, but also related to B2O3content and alkali metal oxide(R.2O). With the increased rare earth ion concentration, concentration quenching effect were come out in Eu37Tb3+/Sm3+doped borosilicate glasses; With the increased content of B2O3, Boron anomaly phenomenon was emerged; alkali metal oxide (R2O) played a role of co-solvent in borosilicate glasses, and its concentration had influenced on the optical properties of the glass. |
