| With the development of network communication technology and the increasing of the cost performance of PDA (Personal Digital Assistant), making use of PDA to monitor CNC machine tool under manufacturing-oriented ubiquitous network environment becomes possible. Through the network platform the operators can get the status information of CNC machine tools anytime and anywhere so as to realize the ubiquitous monitoring and diagnosis of CNC machine tools. Data detection and remote communication based on PDA can get rid of space limitation. It makes great significance for the construction of the ubiquitous manufacturing network. The effective use of PDA to the monitoring of CNC machine tool can shorten the machine maintenance time, prolong the service life of machine tool, and arrange the production task effectively. Therefore the research on CNC machine tool predictive maintenance based on PDA is of great theoretical significance and practical application value. The main contents of this thesis are outlined as follows:(1) Based on the technical literature including both abroad and domestic, this thesis expounded the content and meaning of ubiquitous network and ubiquitous manufacturing network, summarized the research status and development trend of PDA technology, and illustrated the research significance.(2) On the understanding of ubiquitous manufacturing network and predictive maintenance related contents and technology, this thesis put forward the overall scheme of CNC machine tool predictive maintenance system and the system architecture diagram.(3) Based on PDA platform, making full use of its advantages including portable and compact, good mobility, strong expansion ability, operation simplification, this thesis designed the portable data acquisition system interface to CNC machine tool monitoring, completed the hardware platform building and determined the system development software environment and system development process.(4) Based on the study of portable virtual instrument correlative technology, useing the PDA hardware platform and the LabVIEW Mobile module of NI company, this thesis developed the data acquisition program and data communication program based on PDA, and carried out the test of the data communication program.(5) This thesis completed the system realization and module development, including login module, report generation module, SMS warning module, and E-mail warning module.Using the predictive maintenance theory as guide, this thesis carried out positive exploration on the design of portable data acquisition platform, data communication, the early warning maintenance, completed the test of the data communication program between PDA and computer, made explorative research on using PDA to monitor CNC machine tool under ubiquitous manufacturing network environment. |
