Medical hydrocolloid pressure-sensitive adhesive has a lot of characteristics,such as a strong water absorption, adhesive strength, good biocompatibility, no pollution, no solvent. They are widely used in various medical field, such as in the surgical wound and stoma, dermatology, pressure ulcers, infected ulcers and so on.At present, medical pressure-sensitive adhesive in the actual use still have some problems:(1) the elasticity of the film is too large, it is difficult to peel from the skin, which is easy to cause a secondary damage on the patient’s use;(2) a short bonding time, the replacement frequency is too high;(3) Absorbent excessive and water absorption rate is difficult to control. In response to these problems, the low elastic and controllable absorbent medical hydrocolloid pressure-sensitive adhesive was studied, to meet the requirements of the use of efficient medical hydrocolloid pressure sensitive adhesiveIn this subject, SIS thermoplastic elastomer, polyisobutylene, rosin esters, anti-oxidants, naphthenic oil, hydrocolloid were selected as the basic material, using the blending mixer, after tablet ing and attached to the polyurethane film, made the medical trauma materials. The subject of the study is divided into two parts:First, each component of the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (adhesive layer) impact the pressure-sensitive adhesive performance of the combined effects. Discussed how the content changes of SIS thermoplastic elastomer, rosin esters, naphthenic oils, plasticizers polyisobutylene effect the initial adhesion, holding power,180degrees peel strength and the viscosity of bulk of this kind of adhesive to get the best ratio to reach the balance of these four performance. Second, deliberate the hydrocolloid in the second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (water-absorbing layer) to understand the performance of this adhesive. Mixed sodium carboxymethyl cellulose with other water-absorbent polymer material, such as cross-linked carboxymethyl cellulose sodium, pectin, gelatin, starch determined the content of these hydrocolloid effect on the absorption,swelling capacity and integrity of the medical pressure-sensitive water-absorbent. Combination the absorbent capacity of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, cross-linked carboxymethyl cellulose sodium, pectin, gelatin, starch, to determine the scope of the hydrocolloid content. As a result, to the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (adhesive layer),which has a proportion of15%in the SIS thermoplastic elastomer,25%in a tackifying resint, the softener in12%and15%in a plasticizer, the adhesive performance of the pressure-sensitive adhesive is the best and easy to be peeled of. For the second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (water-absorbing layer) in all kinds of hydrocolloid gelatin is the best seletion, with which absorption, swelling capacity and integrity can reach the best conditiom.
