At present, manufacturing sealing element is developing rapidly towardshigh precision, high performance and high reliability, putting forward highrequirements of flatness and surface roughness. Ultra-precision plane grinding is amethod of ultra precision machining, which can satisfy the demand of highmachining accuracy and low surface roughness of the product well. Bothmechanical polishing and chemical polishing technology need high precision,which requires polishing equipment using high rigid structure in order to achieveefficient processing.At present, the design of high-end ultra-precision grinding equipment andmanufacturing technology level in China is not high. Polishing machine andprecision are still heavily dependent on imports, but the price is very expensive.Therefore, the improvement of the high-end sealing study designing ultimategrinding machine in our manufacture and industry is particularly urgent, as wellas the research and exploitation of the related technology.For full access to the related work of domestic research, this study of thepolishing principle and the design method of ultra precision grinding machine putforward the design of the ultra-precision grinding machine body, a liquid supplysystem, reform and design of polishing clamp and control system. Regarding tothe offset of the polishing disk, a suitable connection self-aligning bearingconnected with the main shaft and discs will be selected to automatically adjustthe offset reduction of vibration. Moreover, through the comparison of theexperimental data, the polishing effect of different polishing pressure and speedwill be achieved in order to choose the appropriate pressure and speed.The main conclusions are as follows:1. The design of ultra-precision plane grinding and polishing machine should follow the following principles: the accuracy of priority; givingconsideration to efficiency; the device is simple in structure; as far as possible toimprove the stiffness of the device; the vibration of equipment should takecorresponding measures to control;2. In the same loading conditions (the workpiece material, the radius ofworkpiece and polishing speed) and different pressure, the workpiece removal rateand surface quality are different, the greater the loading force, the greater removalrate and the higher the processing efficiency; the loading force is large enough toa certain extent, its surface quality will enhance a little.3. The surface roughness can be controlled below0.05micron by setting theappropriate loading system pressure value, the rotational speed and the processingtime through control system.4. The combined fixture can adapt to different workpiece processing.5. Through the self mixing system and adjustable pressure no valvemechanism, the self mixing industrial system circuit without valve adjustablepressure can be realized.6. Taking C steel as the main frame and using the Longmen structure toimprove the stiffness, the self-aligning ball bearing spindle deviation can reducesthe disk wobble regulation.7. New design of the plane grinding machine has the characteristics of highprecision, high rigidity and high efficiency. Under the same machining quality,machining efficiency and cost are better than the developed countries of similarproducts, which can reach the international advanced level.
