Advanced manufacturing technology is the foundation of industrial modernization,numerical control machine tool for manufacturing "machine tools", plays a more andmore important role in the development of the national economy, at the same time, due tointensified competition in all walks of life product, competition way already from thetechnical level of competition, price competition gradually turned to the products ofnumerical control processing technology put forward higher request, from the currentnumerical control technology and equipment development trend in the world, the similartechnology products technical level and the research direction is towards high precision,high speed, high efficiency, high reliability, high intelligence, high points out direction,this would require the machine tool structure has good dynamic and static characteristic,because of the complex structure, high precision machine tool, heavy weight, highmanufacturing costs, should be carried out on the calculation and simulation andoptimization design in advance, machine tools and features, and make the design morereasonable. Spindle as one of the main parts in the machine tool, the workpieceprocessing, direct participation in the stand or fall of its static characteristics and dynamiccharacteristics directly affect the machining accuracy and machining surface quality, acertain institute trial-manufacture XK715type CNC milling machine, the keycomponents for the type of milling machine spindle system for static and dynamicperformance analysis.Based on the research and development of a certain institute XK715type verticalCNC milling machine spindle as the research object, using the finite element analysissoftware ANSYS as analysis tool, on the spindle dynamic and static characteristicanalysis and optimization design. First introduced in this paper, the research purpose andresearch significance, Outlines the development and application of the finite elementmethod, this paper expounds the basic idea and principle of the finite element method,after summarizing the basic theory of static analysis and dynamic analysis, in the designof the spindle assembly and refer to the same type of machine tools and access torelevant design manuals, under the guidance of tutor completed the design and selectionof main shaft and its components, in the process of static characteristic analysis on thespindle, chose a common condition in cutting time to calculate the spindle, the force andthe ANSYS software directly XK715CNC milling machine spindle for machine tools for3d entity modeling, avoid the use of CAD modeling software after import lead to dataloss in ANSYS, and the reasonable simplified finite element model according to actualcondition, mesh in ANSYS, through to the analysis of the spindle dynamic characteristicand static characteristic to understand the defects and deficiencies. In order to improvethe spindle radial stiffness to further optimize the spindle design, in guarantee under thepremise of large volume, the radial deformation of the minimum set as the objective function, chose overhanging volume, spindle span, shaft hole, and the height of theshoulder to as design variables are optimized, and the performance of the optimizedcompared with before optimization. The research results are summarized and the furtherwork are discussed.
