WEDM technology available it can not be replaced by any of the advantages of processing methods, in the mold industry plays an increasingly important role, now has become an indispensable mold manufacturing process technology. WEDM CNC system as a core component of its function will affect the machining performance of the pros and cons. This article analyzed the domestic and foreign WEDM CNC system status and development trend, combined with engineering training center in Harbin Engineering University DK7725g type WEDM "WEDM CNC system reform" project actual, proposed on the subject. In this article, based on access to large amounts of data, do the following:1. Doing the research on EDM CNC system interpolation techniques and tool compensation technology, the conic, the direct interpolation algorithm for multi-axis linkage have been developed and also the C functional tool radius compensation algorithm.2. In this paper, CNC EDM grasp the latest developments as well as translation theory based on the principles of the ISO code of the characteristics of NC, and NC code based on the characteristics of the code defines the internal data structure, the preparation of the NC code translator program. The decoding program has a modular structure, easy to transplant.3. Using the output of the decoding module, the simulation of processing path has been realized and the machining path has been simulated.
