| Wind profiler radar can calculate atmospheric wind field, the spectral width, the refractive index structu re constant from detecting the scattering echoes of turbulence.From the1990s onwards, combined with radiosonde(RS) temperature profiles obtained by RASS and microwave radiometer equipment,foreign scientists make various inversion try and research by taking advantage of the wind profiler radar detection data.Based on the turbulent scattering theory, there is a close relationship between the refractive index structure constant (C2n) and the refractive index gradient (M).In this paper, remote sensing systems humidity profiles retrieving is tested using boundary layer wind profiler radar (WPR) and RASS, GPS/PWV by taking this relationship as a theoretical basis. In the trial, the simulation and comparison of two retrieving method is tested using the radiosonde data. The three items contribution of M and the M symbol is discussed in the analysis and comparison, using the N threshold law to judge the M sign. The spectral width detected by wind profiler radar is broadened by some other effects. The detailed method of wind profiler radar joint RASS, GPS, microwave radiometer and other equipment is stated in this article, analyzing the impact factor to retrieving.Based on the retrieving theory, estimation of humidity profiles comparing with radiosonde data at the same time is conducted with WPRã€RASSã€GPS data from August2011to September in Dali, Yunnan. The results show that:The humidity retrieving experiment of turbulence echoes from WPRã€temperature profilers and initial boundary humidity from radiosonde, comparing with which observed by radiosonde, indicate that both have the same trend. The mean deviation and standard deviation turns out to be0.75g-kg-1and0.84g-kg-1respectively, both show an increasing trend with height; With the assistance of WPRã€GPS/PWVã€RASS data, the retrieving mean deviation and standard deviation of humidity is0.64g·kg-1ã€0.85g·kg-1, comparing with the observation of radiosonde. The judgment of the M sign was the most important factor among all the factors.Estimation of humidity profiles comparing with radiosonde data at the same time is conducted with Microwave Radiometer data from May2012to August in Tenchong, Yunnan. The results show that the retrieving mean deviation is-0.74to0.18g·kg-1, indicating that Microwave Radiometer temperature data would not bring in high error.In Dali trials, using radiosonde data combined with wind profiler radar data,24hours of continuous atmospheric humidity profiles are retrieved, and indicating wind profiler radar can show continuous high spatial and temporal resolution state of the atmospheric water vapor. |
