A Study On Corporate Social Responsibility Of Chinese State-owned Enterprises

The social responsibility of the state-owned enterprise is not only to pursue themaximum economic interest, but also take both maintaining and enhancing the social interestand moral duty into consideration. The special social responsibility of the state-ownedenterprise is determined by its nature and its position in the socialistic market economy. Thestate-owned enterprise positively bears social responsibility is beneficial to improvingenterprise’s reputation and good image, as well as protecting the legitimate interests of thestakeholders. What is more important is to improve the competition ability of the state-ownedenterprise itself and the ability to resist risks and achieve the sustainable development ofsociety and to promote the overall social progress.Since the1990s, with the development of economic globalization, the state-ownedenterprise conscientiously implement the national related policies, laws and regulations, thethorough practice, and implementing the scientific concept of development, innovationmanagement system, optimize the allocation of resources of the state-owned enterprise, andcontinually adjust its industrial structure, and actively carry out its social responsibility, theChinese people have remarkable achievements.Meanwhile, there are also many shortcomings in bearing its social responsibility due tothe social historical conditions, concept, the level of economic development, and the externalenvironment multiple factors such as the imperfect of the state-owned enterprise internalsocial responsibility mechanism, disputes between state-owned enterprises and stakeholderand state-owned enterprises on the internal corruption to confusion and the credit crisis,whichall restrict the performance of the state-owned enterprise and bring bad social effects.Therefore, it is high time that we should remodel the social responsibility path of the state-owned enterprise. The essay can be divided into four chapters, mainly analsising andinterpreting the state-owned enterprise social responsibility theory and reality for state-ownedenterprises in China, the situation of the construction of the social responsibility and theexisting main problems. At the same time, according to the state-owned enterprise to socialresponsibility existing problems, it puts forward novel approaches to the state-ownedenterprise social responsibilityIn short, in order to reshape the state-owned enterprise social responsibility path, firstly,we should thoroughly comb the current situation and existing problems of the state-ownedenterprise from inside and outside. On the one hand, we should pay attention to the perception,ethics, economic and system level urges the social responsibility of the enterprise mechanismformation; On the other hand, we should also make great efforts to realize the socialresponsibility of the enterprise internal and external mechanism of the organic unity andcooperation, and eventually find out a suitable path for China’s national conditions of thestate-owned enterprise society responsibility construction through the public opinion guide,policies and regulations publicity, civil society and the promotion of the external environment.
