Nowadays, the system architecture of Vehicular Ad-hoc NETwork(VANET) and is mainly divided into four parts:Sensor Networks(WSN), wireless communication network,cloud computing platforms and users of vehicle terminal system. WSN in front-end is responsible for collecting the traffic flow information in real-time which will be sent to the cloud platform The cloud platform is responsible for handling these information from the front-end and finally sending the information to the users.This kind of architecture system almost cannot provide real-time traffic information for users because of its large system delay. But in real-world environment, users have a high demand for traffic information in high real-time performance.This paper analyses the performance indicators of VANET, shows that the big data processing efficiency of the entire system still can be improved. We proposes a method which using the memory databases instead of traditional I/O disk database in cloud platform promote the bid data processing efficiency.Based on the features of VANET, we apply column storage in memory database. We compress the traffic flow information according to the characteristics of real traffic flow, without a compressing process when eventually the data is read, which are also one of the innovative points of this paper.On the basis of compression optimization, this paper propose a time windows optimization algorithm which improve the data process efficiency to meet the high real-time need.Finally, we use road signs time window policy to real-time monitor the emergency event, which is another innovation of this paper. Once an emergency event is monitored, system will send the information to users immediately, and users can take corresponding measures, which satisfy the needs of uses undoubtedly.
