Enterprise data center is the important solution to "data islands" in the process ofenterprise information construction, especially to the common data sharing amongheterogeneous systems. It has become the focus of the enterprises’ research. On the basis ofthe Web Services, study on the software architecture of the enterprise data center. The mainresearches are as following:The paper analyzes the program of data sharing in traditional enterprise data center, anddiscovers a serious preeminent problem, such as heterogeneous data sharing, datacompression performance and the underlying data redundancy. Clearly based on Web services,this paper establishes the architecture of Web Services-based enterprise data center, whichstarts from making the unified data agreement and data model of general application. And it isalso proposed, based on the demand of Yunnan Metallurgical Group Corporation Company asbackground, to solve the data sharing between heterogeneous systems in the traditionalenterprise data center.Firstly, this paper mainly uses Web Services and XML at the stage of establishingsoftware architecture. In order to support the Web services-based architecture modeling andservice calls, the algebra formal description of Web services is given. The study uses XML topackage and parse the enterprise common data, and controls heterogeneous data sharedbetween the business systems through the data version. Then, the article sets up the standardmodel of enterprise data, develops data access specification and the data service agreementbetween producers and consumers of common data, and develops the Web Service interfacesby Axis2to ensure the common could be shared smoothly among various business systems.Secondly, on the basis of web services and service-oriented architecture, the prototypesystem is developed using JAVA on the platform of My Eclipse8.5. The databasemanagement system is My SQL5.1, and the open source software Tomcat6.0is used as webapplication server. The all JSP pages in system are designed by Dreamweaver. Furthermore,this prototype system includes two main modules, which are web applications and Webservices interfaces.Finally, case study is going on by running the common data to implement in the developed prototype system. In the environment of Yunnan Metallurgical Group CorporationCompany, the organization structure data is shared to verify the feasibility and rationality ofthe proposed Web services-based enterprise data center architecture. The universal commondata model for organization structure is established using UML model. And the model couldbe transformed equivalently and cut expanded, in order to facilitate in different enterprisesystems. The data model can adapt to any organization’s business transformation, and is witha high reference value.
