The purpose of this study is to solve domestic and international forest plant germplasmresources information system development and problems faced by the portable terminalequipment. Use the PDA as a handheld computer can be set computing, storage, telephone, fax,Internet, multimedia and other functions in a characteristic. On the PDA mobile applications especially applicable in those with highly mobileor site work nature of the application field, those making the forest plant informationmanagement Field data collection fully able to realize digital and electronic technology,changed the traditional approach, significantly improve the effectiveness of the workaccelerated improvement in the level of industry information. This article focuses on the characteristics of the system in the aspects of system functionality, architecture, detailed analysis of the system implementation process,several key technologies and system development involved were studied.This study method is the use of software engineering design ideas on the status of forestplant germplasm resources management, problem analysis and needs analysis, the user needs and functional requirements.Use of UML use case diagrams and activity diagrams of the system. UML classdiagram, sequence diagram based on the analysis, the static and dynamic models of thesystem are established. Detailed description of the software system architecture of the system, a detailedexplanation of the function of each module, as well as data tables.This article some of the research results in the simulator under the conditions of a number of experiments and tests, test results show that the function of the system to achieve the desired envisaged. The system is designed to solve the problem of forest plant germplasm resources management.
