Currently, the technology of long-distance firepower in our army still lags behind that of some developed countries, rocket Launcher which this paper researches on is one of them, rocket launcher’s combating performance largely depends on its servo control system, therefore, it holds great significance to work on the performance of new rocket launcher control system. Based on the development of new rocket launcher control system, this paper focuses on the research of the identification and control strategy of the control system.Firstly, combined with the actual control system, semi-physical simulation test bench is structured to simulate the actual system conditions based on the existing equipments in our laboratory. And it is the object of researching for the next research.Then, this paper identifies the semi-physical simulation test bench structured above. After introducing the structure and principles of RBF neural network, improved identification algorithm of RBF neural network is used to identify control system, the input-output data measured from semi-physical simulation test bench is used for identification of the control system, the results of simulation prove the validity of this method.Finally, on the basis of the system model identified above, this paper designs the controller of system. First, this paper introduces the principles of both classic PID control and adaptive neural network control, then analyzes the characteristics of the two methods. At last, the method of neural network self-tuning control is used to design the controller. To check the validity of the controller, this paper structures a simulation test bench based on MATLAB/SIMULINK. The results show that the controller designed by this paper has excellent effects in controlling, and can achieves precise control of the system.
