With the development and widely applications of net work technology, the growth of power of network functions and increasingly perfect of network performance, networked control systems have be used in boarder application areas. Networked control systems (NCS) are feedback control systems where in the control loops closed through the real-time network. There are many advantages in Networked control systems, such as public information resource, flexibility, high-efficient, high-reliability and so on. However, the introduction of networks also brings some new problems, such as network-induced delay, packet dropout, etc. The use of traditional control theory directly has been unable to design an effective control strategy. So, based on the characteristics, it is necessary to design new research ideas and research methods. This paper analyzes the continual-time networked control system with both time-delay and data Packet dropout based on Lyapunov stability theory and Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI). Then the validity of these approaches proved by numerical demonstrations by the LMI box of Matlab. The main parts are concluded as follow:1. Analyze the stability of system and design controller for certain and uncertain continual-time networked control systems by respectively, based on Lyapunov stability theory and LMI. To the certain and uncertain continual-time networked control systems, chooses the different Lyapunov function, and makes a contrast studies. The sufficient conditions which are subject to asymptotic stability are derived, and the design approaches of the controller which are less conservative are given in the form of LMI.Control method is correctness and effectiveness by simulation.2.Design the robust H∞controller of certain and uncertain continual-time networked control systems like first described. The sufficient conditions which are subject to asymptotic stability are derived, and the design approaches of the H∞controller, based on Lyapunov stability theory and LMI. Control method is correctness and effectiveness by simulation.
