The MITAT (Microwave Induced Thermo-acoustic Tomography) is a new detection method., with excellent resolution and contrast. So, MITAT is a promising technology. This paper explains the running way of MITAT by the point of view from kinetic and thermodynamic, studies time reversal mirror technique (TRM) based on pseudo-spectral time-domain method in MITAT application and finite-difference time-domain (FDTD).Firstly, the introduction describes the characteristics of breast cancer, an overview of the commonly used concentration of early breast cancer detection methods, than compares their advantages and disadvantages, than introduces the origin, development and current situation of microwave imaging.Secondly, the thesis describes the physical basis of microwave-induce-ultrasound imaging technology for early detection of cancer tissue and the mathematical theory of MITAT, provide a necessary theoretical basis for the behind algorithms. Finally, imaging algorithm introduces finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) and time reversal mirror technique (TRM) based on pseudo-spectral time-domain method. It will be the first choice of MITAT imaging algorithm with noise suppression and random statistical stability of the model parameters.
