Chengde city is an ecological barrier and an important source of water of the NorthChina. With the development of social economy and the improvement of people’s livingstandard, water demand increased year by year in Chengde city. The water quantity andwater quality are put forward new requirements. In recent years the water resourcesshortage has become more and more obvious, the contradiction between supply anddemand of water resources has become the bottleneck of the development of cityeconomy society. As a result of the Chengde special topography and geographiclocation, where it is not possible from the outer basin water transfer case, strengthen theunified management of water resources, reasonable and open source, optimizeconfiguration, the overall savings, increase the use and protection of water resourcesdevelopment in the investment of science and technology, executive science andeducation begins water strategy to solve the water shortage problem the most essentialcity, the most effective strategic measures. Chengde city to carry out the" city of waterresources real-time monitoring and management system" construction, is in the city ofChengde on the water, water, water, water, drainage, water management integrationbased on forward, its purpose is to strengthen the city water management capacitybuilding, to enhance the Chengde Municipal Water Affairs Bureau of the level ofscientific decision-making. For the vigorousdevelopment of the cause of water resources in Chengde a lot of things must be donesuch as water affairs and all the implementation of integrated information managementof water resource, water, water supply, drainage, flood control, sewage treatment andreuse, irrigation, soil and water conservation, rural hydropower. For the purpose ofwater resources sustainable utilization supportting rural economic and social sustainabledevelopment,this project can make good use of water resources in the nature.
