| The forest fires is often difficult to find at the onset because the geographically location is scattered and remote. If timely monitoring to the occurrence of the forest fires, and take remedial measures, will be able to make less damages and loss greatly. Current monitoring of forest fires in China are generally rely on artificial lookout, monitoring stations, artificial patrol prevention and laying the video monitoring network and so on, which found the fire point of the real-time and accuracy very difficulty. Our country urgently needs a set of scientific monitoring system, which is able to monitor forest area in real time.This paper mainly studies with the UAV as camera carrier monitoring forest fires and development process. According to the special scene environment of the forest fire, choose the COFDM modulation technology, the FPGA hardware circuit module to achieve real-time transmission of the forest fire image.The choices in this paper, FPGA module is the ALTERA company cyclone series EP4CE15F17C8N chip, image collection module is CMOS image sensor MT9D111, image storage module is ISSI’s high-speed asynchronous CMOS IS61LV51216as an external SRAM, HY57V64160HG as an external SDRAM. Functionality of the system is mostly based on the FPGA chip to realize. The key technology of this system for the image wireless transmitter and receiver module is the effective communication module, COFDM modulation technology. So this paper focuses on COFDM technology, and simulates through the MATLAB/Simulink simulation software, and introduces the key technology of the COFDM realization through the FPGA devices. In this paper, image acquisition module, the COFDM data sending module, relay amplifier module, COFDM data receiving module, power module are separate to design. Each program design of the module does not require too much about the internal structure and programming details of other modules. If one module have changed, it would not affect other modules.The experiments show that this system’s indexes which this paper introduces, such as communication frequency and channel number, video quality, communication distance, high-speed mobile can fit in the application of forest fire monitoring. |
