With the development of the sensor technology and the Embedded Technology,Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks(WMSNs) has became a research hotspot ofnetwork techniques. WMSNs are often used to transfer large amount of data such asaudio, video and image. To meet the requirements of the bandwidth, delay and packetloss ratio during the course of transmission, it is necessary for the WMSNs to providea perfect route to guarantee the service since the disposal capacity, the energy, thestorage capacity and the node power of the WMSNs are limited. The methods of singleobjective optimization was used in the traditional QoS Routing methods, thedisadvantage of which is that it can’t optimize multiple objects at the same time. Thefollowing thesis clarifies the QoS optimization model of the WMSNs in the first place,and then come the parameter of the QoS routing and the optimization function of theoptimization model. A QoS optimization model is proposed which is based on themultiple objective optimizations of the WMSNs. Through the simulations experiments,the impacts of the crossover probability and the mutation probability in the geneticalgorithm, an adaptive crossover and Mutation probability operator and a improvedbase GA are discussed in the thesis.The content also includes the experimentalsimulation which is aimed at testing the performance of the improved algorithm and atthe same time, we try to apply the method of multiple objective optimization to therouting technology in the WMSNs. In the thesis, two or more parameters in the QoSare optimized in order to meet the QoS requirement of multi-constraints during theapplication of it. In allusion to the Pareto optimal solution acquired from themulti-objective optimization, multi-attribute solutions is proposed in the thesis inorder to find the most satisfactory solution in the Pareto optimal solution. Thefollowing are the innovations of the thesis:(1) A new function structural method based on the genetic algorithm is proposed,which is used to solve the problem of the QoS routing.(2) Using multi-objective optimization method, structural Pareto optimal path set, andthe method of multiple attribute decision is presented for obtaining the most satisfactory solution of the path, which provides a certain degree of QoSguarantees.
