| LDPC code (low density parity check code) is a new type liner block code that rised in the sixties of last century. It has not only the performance coding approaching to Shannon limits, but also can realize simple decoding. Owing to excellent performance such as laser’s monochromatic, coherence and the concentration of energy, it becomes an ideal light source in optical communication. The application of the LDPC and laser in wireless optical communication will give rise to a new upsurge of research in field modern communication. In the thesis, LDPC code encoding theory, wireless optical communication channel theory and the FPGA implementation of LDPC code encoder are discussed. The main researching works are as follows:Firstly, it studies the RU coding theory on the LDPC encoding and wireless optical communication channel noise theory.Secondly, simulation of encoding of672-bit-and-1/3-rate code is completed in Matlab2008a environment using RU algorithm under the IEEE802.16e standard, which validates the feasibility of this algorithm.Thirdly, point to point communication system modeling and simulation in wireless optical communication is finished using Matlab2008a and Simulink, together with atmospheric noise modeling and simulation under weak turbulence flow. At the same time DSP-builder software is investigated, with a simple application example. Finally, LDPC code RU coding algorithm is realized in FPGA. This thesis also completes encoder simulation test by Modelsim6.5b and Logic analyzer. It lastly completes Matlab2008a’s joint simulation test using the test file. |
