Digital watermarking technology is a kind of important and effective way to protect intellectual property. During the last decade, there have been numerous achievements of digital watermarking algorithm; however, most studies have focused on gray image watermarking embedding algorithm, and the embedded watermarking is random sequence or binary images which contain little amount of information. This paper puts forward the color image double watermarks embedding algorithm, that is, in the color image embedded a visible watermarking and an invisible watermarking, both of which contain large information. Visible watermarking, which makes a warning, propagandistic function, does not affect the use of images. If a copyright infringement, invisible watermarking may become a powerful handle. The purpose that we show the significance of the double watermarks algorithm is to declare and prove the copyright, not to stop the use of the general population. Controlling the brightness changes, visible watermarking embedding algorithm can use human visual system and image fusion technology to embed the watermarking, although embedded watermarking is translucent, visible and hard to remove. Firstly, invisible watermarking makes Arnold transform in order to enhance security. Then use the human visual system and the discrete wavelet transform embed the invisible watermarking to images including the visible one. Finally we can get double watermarking images. As far as this research displays, this algorithm is an effective way to defend shear, falsify or.removing watermarking.
