With the development of health care and medicine science and technology, and the problem of using drug in clinical medical activity has gradually become the focus of public attention. As the drug widely is used, drug-induced disorder is a great hazard to health of human. Rational administration of drug is important premise of reducing hazard of bad effect of the medication. The rational administration of drug needs according to the disease type, the patient’s condition and pharmacology theory to select the best drug and its preparations, formulate or adjust the dosage regimen and effective, safety, economical prevention and cure disease measures.This paper is mainly armed at the problem of rational administration of drug. It focuses on the analysis of the standardized diagnostic database and the process records database of the system, using based-case learning method and the related algorithms of rough set theory. Finally, it makes the system of rational administration of drug has the function of self-learning, and it promotes clinical rational administration of drug.Rough set theory is a kind of mathematical theory, which is used to deal with uncertainty, inconsistency and inaccuracy of the date. In this paper, through the use of rough set algorithm, calculating the dependency degree of qualification attribute to decision attribute and determining the weight value of the each attribute. On the other hand, using the reduction algorithm based on positive region to deal with the data table of drug combination and the therapeutic effect. The knowledge rules as the basis of the expert group to develop the new plan of prescription medication.In this paper, the based-case learning and the rough set theory was mixed, and realized medical records retrieval. The data table of drug combination and the therapeutic effect, using rough set algorithm to deal with, and then get the combination of drug which plays a key role to the treatment. Thus it provides effective support to the expert group. This kind of design process not only makes the system realize self-learning, but also makes the system of rational administration of drug improve the learning efficiency. The research finding of this topic will play an important role in the future development of rational administration of drug, at the same time it can provide support to clinicians, which can make the treatment scheme of drug for their patients.
