Through the development case about the school-based ifne art curriculum inprimary school for ancient bridge culture in Jinze, this paper pirmarily goes deep intosome methods and procedures of carrying out teaching activities through localrecourses, as well as elaborates the implementation process and methods of developingschool-based fine art curriculum through local resources.The case study works out the methods and procedures of developing school-basedifne art curriculum as below. The early stage investigates, researches and collects thematerials of local resources, integrates the local resources with teaching value, setsteaching goals, formulates teaching plans,designs the unitized research-based thematicactivities,complies teaching materials for school-based ifne art curriculum, conductsteaching practice and teaching evaluation, and modifies and improves school-basedteaching materials according to teaching practice.The fourth chapter contains the key contents of this paper, elaborating the processabout how to design unitized research-based thematic teaching activities. Additionally,it expounds how to compile school-based teaching materials for ancient bridge culturein Jinze, as well as describes the organization of the teaching contents in a particularlesson and a particular unit through cases. Meanwhile, through making a summaryabout practice, this paper points out the basis principles that should be observed whenlocal resources are introduced into classroom teaching. For example, teaching contentsshould be student-based; teaching dififculty should meet student, s psychological andphysiological development level; teaching activities should be carired out with ifne artteachers as center and teachers of other subjects as suppotr.Finally, this paper points out the dififculties and problems when local resourcesare applied to developing school-based ifne art curriculum and school-basedcurriculum is utilized to carry out teaching activities. Besides, it comes up with somesubsequent ideas as well.
