| The Internet of things is a network which connects devices and Internet to exchangeinformation under particular protocol. The purpose of this system is to implementidentification, positioning, tracking, supervisory control and management by sensorequipments——RFID,IR Sensor,GPS and laser scanner,etc.With the support by cloud computing,the Internet of things will realize the new associations betweenthe society and physical system to make life and work managed more effectively and to improve theutilization of resource, the level of productivity and the relation of human and nature.Haier(Chinese electrical company) has been published as refrigerator firstly which isbased on the Internet of things technology platform. Due to the limitation of technologies,systems and design, Haier’s the refrigerator is still a conceptual product,which is not yetaccepted by customers. However, Haier has pointed out the correct development direction ofthe domestic usage of internet of things which has the value of continuing research.As necessity in modern people families,the refrigerator has special pre-conditions,suchas constant power,big bulk and controlled inside space,which plays an advance role inallowing the Internet of things accessed by families.In the study, the following research would be done. Firstly,the case study of Haier;secondly,the analysis on the defects and limitations of Haier,which combined with targetconsumers,design professors,the periodicity research achievement of the technology aboutthe Internet of things in the global and the research of the relevant national policies, thenbased on what previously mentioned,to predict the change of the role of the refrigerator underthe generation of Internet of thins. Finally, to give out the forward-looking design guidelinesto provide reference for the designers in the times of the Internet of things.Besides, the study will connect with the graduation design project to prove the feasibilityof the design guidelines further. |
