The Jixia Scholarship Of Song Dynasty

In the age of the Warring states period, China was facing a big changing for the whole society. The culture of China has reached to the peak and knew as the name of "contenting of a hundred schools of thought". The scholars of Jixia helped the development of Qi a lot by giving advices and ideas to the leader of the country. But their achievements were not known as comman as the scholarship of Confucius and Lao Zi. In the Dynasty of Song, scholars noticed the importance of Jixia Scholarship. I’d like to do some research on the scholars and philosophy of Jixia Scholarship from the version of Song Dynasty. There were many scholars who had studied the Jixia Scholarship during Song Dynasty such as Shi Ye, Zhen Huang and Yinglin Huang. This article will begin with the study of book cataloging of Jixia Scholarship in Song Dynasty, to find out the status and influence of Jixia Scolarship in the histoty of ancient Chinese academic thought.
