Evolution Of The Liaoning Provincial Capital Since1990Coordinative Development

Urban area and rural area are integral partsof the society,which are two differentsocial settlement patterns. The center of the city as the country or region is the cradle of themodern civilization,and the village is the origin of the development of human civilization’shistory. Since the beginning of the formation of the rural and urban areas, the differencesare between urban and rural areas. But in many developing countries with the social andeconomic development, the gap between urban and rural areas is larger. As a developingcountry, there are also such problems, and in recent years, this difference has been anongoing larger. Uncoordinated development between urban and rural areas has beenseverely hampered the overall socio-economic development. Therefore, narrowing the gapbetween urban and rural areas, overall urben-rural development have become an importantgoal of today’s society development.This paper is based on the human geography, economic geography, developmenteconomics, city geography and other related disciplines theoretical foundation,and overallurben-rural development in principal component of Liaoning Province as an object of study.Using principal component analysis method and ArcGis spatial analysis method, bothquantitative and qualitative measure and analyze the level of development of overallurben-rural development of Liaoning Province. On the basis of analysis in overallurben-rural development level of spatial and temporal regions of Liaoning Province since1990, summed up the experiences and lessons of the overall urben-rural development indifferent areas in Liaoning Province and has made some suggestions countermeasures toLiaoning Province regional urban and rural development.In this paper, a measure of levels of overall urban-rural development in different areasin Liaoning Province since1990,and obtained outside of Shenyang City, LiaoningProvince, in addition to other parts of overall urban-rural level of development of theoverall upward trend. Based on the different years in Liaoning province overall urban-rural development level of spatial analysis, can see Liaoning province overall urban-ruraldevelopment exists the imbalance among regions. The overall urban-rural developmentlevel of the coastal areas, is higher,and the higher level of developmentis a high level ofcoordinated urban and rural; Western inland area although the overall degree is higher, butthe urban and rural development level is low, which belongs to a low level of coordinationof urban and rural; The eastern part of Liaoning in the urban and rural overall developmentlevel is low, and there is a great difference between urban and rural development. In thelight of Liaoning province the overall development of urban and rural areas of urban and rural development, put forward some countermeasures and suggestions, including: toupdate the concept of changing the dual structure; to expand county economies andpromote the integration of building; to full use of the coastal edge, to speed up urbanization;to prominent characteristics of agro-industrial and raise rural incomes and improve ruraldevelopment; to adjust the industrial structure, to optimize the layout etc.
