The thesis is based on the study of Tao Poetry’s criticism in Ming Dynasty, outstanding Shi Sou, Shi Yuan Bian Ti, Gu Shi Gui, Gu Shi jing’s Tao poetry critical opinions. In Ming Dynasty, Tao Poetry anthologies was printed many times, poetics in Ming Dynasty paid attention to all aspects of Tao Poetry, which reflected people in Ming Dynasty gave closely attention to Tao Poetry. The significance of Ming Tao Poetry criticism was putting Tao Poetry in poetry development, and excluded Tao Poetry from learning objects. He Jing Ming put forward the opinion that style of poem became weak from Tao Yuan Ming accordingly.This view was strengthened by Hu Ying Lin’s Shi Sou, giving the opinion that Tao Poetry is unorthodox.At the same time,his theory on Tao Poetry was in a dilemma.Xu Xue Yi approved Tao Poetry’s value from respecting orthodox and unorthodox in Shi Yuan Bian Ti, and affirmed that Tao Poetry was source of Tang Poetry. Besides criticized Tao Poetry from poetic genres and poetic rhyme, people in Ming Dynasty viewed Tao Poetry from emotion and artistic conception. Jingling School emphasized Tao Poetry’s deep emotion, outstanding Tao Poetry’s "profound". Besides displaying deeply emotion in simple way, School of Romantic Charm accentuated Tao Poetry’s natural imageries and implicit rhymes. Poetics in Ming Dynasty attended their own theories and had flaws at the same time, which enriched Tao Poetry’s criticism and promoted the development of Tao Poetry’s criticism.
