To analyze the correlationship among general well-being, selfconsistency and personality and the factors which influence the general well-being ofmedical graduates; To provide positive theoretical support and references for concernedstudy. To provide the practical guiding for the improvement of the general well-being ofmedical graduates and the level of self consistency.Methods: Stratified cluster sampling combined with the survey methodology; Select600medical graduates from2medical schools in Anhui province who are surveyedanonymously (573valid questionnaires). Survey tools include: General questionnaire,GWB,SCSS, EPQ and SPSS16.0which is used as data analyzing software.Results:1.Gnenrally, general well-being of the Medical graduates is above averagelevels with an average score113.80±13.48. There are distinctive differences ininterpersonal relationship and grade(P﹤0.05); No distinctive differences exist in age,working experience, professional orientation, parenting style, monthly cost of living andother variable(sP﹥0.05);2.The general well-being of the Medical graduates is aboveaverage levels with an average score92.07±13.68. Medical graduates of differentgender can see great differences in the variables such as self-stereotypes, self flexibility,self consistency score(P﹤0.05); No distinctive differences exist in variables such asfamily background, sole child in the family or not, work experiences and marital status(P﹥0.05).3. Among the medical graduates, typical Outgoing type(personality)accounts for12.9%; Intermediate type accounts for51.3%and typical introvert typetakes14.3%;Among the medical graduates typical stable level accounts for73.8%.4.General well-being of the Medical graduates is in negative correlation with selfconsistency score, self-stereotypes, lack of experiences(r=0.24,0.38,0.42); in positivecorrelation with self flexibility, typical Outgoing personality(r=0.24); in negativecorrelation with psychoticism P, neuroticism N in personality(r=0.32,0.49).In positive correlation with extraversion&introversion E (r=0.12). Variables of grade,interrelationship, self flexibility, self-stereotypes and lack of experiences, selfconsistency total score and mental quality, extraversion or introversion type andneuroticism, are effective factors to predict the level of general well-beingConclusion:1.The general well-being of the Medical graduates is above averagelevels;Freshmen have higher score than junior and senior students. Students who canmanage better social relationship tend to possess a better level of general well-being.2.Self consistency of the Medical graduates is generally in good level. Female studentstake some advantage compared with male students; junior and senior student have betterperformance in self-flexibility and have higher average score in self consistency.Students from democratic-style family have better score in self consistency than thosefrom let-alone style family. Medical graduates with better social relationship have lowerself-stereotypes and experiences shortage than those with average social relationship.3.On the whole, Medical graduates have healthy personality with stable level.4.
