Correct estimation of the ecological benefits of forest water conservation can not only be used for providing the premise to forest operators on resources management and development of forest management to achieve optimal operation and optimal use, but also plays an extremely important role in the sustainable development of humanity. This study is based on the area of Laoshan working circle in Maorshan Forest Station, by using Ecological Observatory Station survey data and Landsat-5TM remote sensing image data in2008as the basic data, extracting various parameter factors related to the forest water conservation benefit as much as possible to construct conventional multivariate statistical model and the simultaneous equations model in the study area. The determination coefficient of regression model was0.788, the average fitting accuracy was80.4%, and RMSE=26.74, the average test accuracy was81.1%, and RMSE=26.14.As the joint equations model, the average fitting accuracy was84.4%, and RMSE=16.82, average test accuracy was83.6%, and RMSE=21.34. Joint equations model is2.5%higher to the conventional regression model, also, joint equations model starting from the three functional layers of the forest water conservation process, more in line with the objective reality, established the basis for further study. By using the parameters of simultaneous equations model as the input data to Geographic Information System (GIS) to reveal the spatial distribution of quantity and value, then estimated the total forest water conservation quantity of Laoshan in2008,1=263.78tons, established the currency structure model of the study area to estimate the total value quantity of water conservation effective, E=1.3189million yuan. And we obtain that the precipitation is the main factor of forest water conservation. Then analyzed the variation feature of quantity change with topographical, also, the variation fits the truth. The results provide an important significance for the forest resources and ecological value of the theory research and concrete operation management.
