Because of the rapid development of power electronics technology, power electronic devices are widely used. This may cause serious harmonic pollution, posing a serious threat to the health of the grid. Power Factor Correction (Power Factor Correction, PFC) technology is a good way to solve the problem of harmonic pollution caused by Power electronic devices. With power rating enhancing unceasingly, the increasingly demand for high-power PFC converters is more and more strong, but the traditional Boost PFC converter is only suitable for small and medium-sized power occasions. By using the interleaved technology, the current stress of switches can be decreased, the ripple of the input current and switching losses can also be reduced, and the power rating of the PFC converter can be improved. Interleaved Boost PFC is very suitable for high power occasion. So this article will use Interleaved Boost PFC converter as the research object to study the characteristics of the interleaved technology.Firstly, this paper gives a brief introduction of the research background and development status of the Power Factor Correction technology, describes the content and significance of this topic and makes a simple comparative analysis between the Interleaved Boost PFC and the traditional Boost PFC. Then this paper analyzes the working status and characteristics of the main circuit of Interleaved Boost PFC in Continuous-Conduction-Mode (CCM) and introduces some control strategies and implementations of interleaved technology. Thirdly, this paper makes an deep study on the UCC28070interleaved PFC controller of TI and designs a interleaved Boost PFC converter based on UCC28070. Finally, this paper does a research on the digital control technology of PFC. Through comparison and analysis, this paper chooses an advanced digital control algorithm as digital control strategy of the interleaved Boost PFC. In order to realize the parallel current-sharing, this paper improves the control system and build interleaved Boost PFC digital control simulation model. The simulation results show that digital control interleaved Boost PFC based on duty cycle predictive control algorithm can realize parallel current-sharing, and also show that the system has a good power factor correction effect and faster dynamic adjustment ability.
