Study On The Old City Zone Renewal Strategy Based On The Perspective Of Social Capital

With the development of society, economy and culture, some of old city zones are far behind the demands of economic development. In order to meet the needs of urban development, many cities in China are undergoing a large scale of urban redevelopment and renewal. The urban redevelopment brings huge economic benefits, and the urban environment and infrastructure is improved to a certain extent. However, the transformation of the old city also brings a lot of negative issues, such as interests loss of local citizens, the disappeared public space, social separation of the rich and the poor, the loss of traditional culture and history.Concerning the current problems by urban renewal, this paper introduces the concept of social capital and tries to analyze and study the old problems and related strategies coming out from urban renewal on this perspective of social capital.This paper studies the negative impact of urban renewal in the concept of social capital loss, citing a variety of impacts on social capital due to urban renewal and analyzes the bad influence on urban and social development. Finally, measures and recommendations are raised based on economic and national conditions according to the status of social capital loss, and typical urban renewal cases are listed to further demonstrate how to avoid social capital loss during urban renewal.This paper works on urban renewal and loss of social capita through reference, case studies and theoretical dialectic, and made a feasible strategic analysis on the old problems caused by urban renewal. It is hoped that this paper could give experience and reference to the current urban renewal.In short, how to coordinate the transformation of the old and the relationship between social capital, at this stage of urban development and construction process is essential, Because not only affect the city’s healthy development, but also to the stability of society as a whole. Is a transformation of the old economic behavior, the need to promote our city Modernization, urbanization, but the old city is a social act, they backfire if not handled properly, will lead to broader social will the crisis, therefore, in the social transformation of the old capital from the Perspective of the community to share issues need to pay attention.
