As the height of aerial platform fire trucks is increasing, influence of wind load for the high, thin and flexible arm structures become more obvious, the effect of wind load for aerial platform fire trucks is one of the most important design factors of which should be thought. Therefore how to obtain the reasonably equivalent wind load though the availably analysis method is the important design task and have significant applied value for theory and practical engineering.This dissertation according to the comparison between the structures of aerial platform fire truck and vertical construction compartmentalize the structure different analogical cells to obtain the equivalent model; and obtains the calculating means basing on random vibration theory for coefficient of wind vibration of such structures. By means of modules of Modal and Hydrodynamics Emulate in ANSYS to obtain the natural frequency, vibration mode and shape coefficient; It also obtains the way for calculating wind vibration dynamical coefficient by integral transform and calculates wind pressure height coefficient and pulsation coefficient of aerial platform fire truck structure by coordinate transform; this dissertation calculates each coefficient to obtain the wind vibration coefficient of aerial platform fire truck; and obtains equivalent wind load of aerial platform fire truck by wind vibration coefficient.Taking the DJC100aerial platform fire truck as the example, this dissertation calculates equivalent wind power basing on wind vibration coefficient and wind power coefficient in Crane Design Criterion (GB/T3811-2008), and works out the maximum displacement by ANSYS; also compares the two results. The method in this dissertation considering the effect of static(average wind action) and dynamic(pulsating wind action) wind and change rule, also thinking about influence factors by height, physiognomy and structure itself is one way to calculate equivalent wind power of aerial platform fire truck. This method does not only enhance the design security in order to make progress in succor work; but also have significant applied value for theory and practical engineering.
