| Pipeline transportation is a large-scale transportation methods for oil and gas,play anincreasing role in the national economy and defense industires and other ifelds. But Leakaccident causing by the pipeline dcfects, for example corrosion, cracks often birng about hugelosses in oil industry. At the same time,also crcat extremely bad influence to the social andenvironment. Therefore, to the new and old pipelines,safety issues is particularly importantBecause of rapid, long-distance, large-scale, low-cost detect to pipeline, guided waveinspection technology gets the attention of researchers and inspectors quickly.Guided wave inspection technology has high detection sensitivity, complementary withother detection techniques, is a simple and practical pipeline corrosion and defect detectiontechnology,and has a certain economic and high eiffciency.Based on previous theoretical studies,this paper focuses on the expeirmental study. First,analyse destructive form of pipe, common defects of tube and weld, and traditional andemerging pipeline inspection technology; secondly, analyse of some characteirstic, forexample, guided-wave group velocity, phase velocity, multi-modal dispersion phenomena,attenuation and so on; third,analyse modal,rfequency and other parameters selection andtesting accuracy, which based on the magnetostrictive wave guide; The last is expeirmentalresearch of magnetostrictive guided waves,through experiments can be obtained influencingfactors to detection sensitivity, such as expeirmental pipe defect size, dcfcct type, rfequency,and probe installation location and other factors and detect the SSAW with elbow, the elbowwith defective and the long distance buired pipelines in the field. |
