Study On The Interaction Of Industrial Cluster And Urbanization

The development of many countries and regions shows that the urbanization is relatively higher in the regions where the industrial cluster is well developed. This proves that there is mutual relation between industrial cluster and urbanization. The development and cluster of industry has offered the generation and development of urbanization, the development of urbanization provides the urban infrastructure for industrial cluster. But in china's development of industrial cluster and urbanization, there is no inevitable connection between both and exist two different perspectives:one is that by investing blandly to introduce industries, no attention is paid to the bearing capacity of city and the construction of local industrial network. Another one is thinking that the higher proportion of urban population can adjust by the improvement of urbanization level without considering that the gathering of population is depending on the core industries. So the paper linked industrial cluster and urbanization, and explored the interaction of both, so as to provide reference for our country's development of industrial cluster and urbanization.To explore the interaction of both, the paper first describes the conception of industrial cluster and urbanization and the current research situation; and then discusses the interaction mechanism of both, from the aspect of industrial cluster impacting on urbanization to analysis how industrial cluster improve the level of urbanization in "quantity" and "quality" by industries, urban space and factors of production. Meanwhile, it analyses how urbanization promoting the industrial cluster from the angle of urbanization development by improving resources, optimizing its industrial structure, creating cultural environment. To have clear understanding the interaction of industrial cluster and urbanization, the paper builds the interaction model by selecting the index system of industrial cluster and urbanization, and uses the econometrics method to carry on detailed real example analysis to the relation between the two.The qualitative and quantitative analysis methods are applied to analyze the interaction of industrial cluster and urbanization, the results shows that the pushing of industrial cluster on urbanization is regional changes. The secondary cluster has pushing effect on urbanization while the level of urbanization is not very high. When the urbanization reached a higher level, tertiary industry cluster could obviously promote the development of urbanization. The article analyses the influences of urbanization on industrial cluster from the aspect of population, economic, society and space, and found that the development of urbanization can promote the industrial cluster.
