Abstract/Summary:
According to the requirements of Waterborne Transportation Institute Ministry of Transport P.R.C., the shipping and ports authority of Guangxi province insists waterborne transportation industry informatization leads the modernization of port work, trying to promote the further development and progress in a new round of port works, and actively carry forward the informationize construction of port work in the region. In this context, the authority carries out the management information system for harbor safety and security in Guangxi. On the basis of existing information system, the purpose of this system is to solve the problems of port authorities in the region gradually such as follows. Firstly, lack of information management system in port security management, dangerous cargo declaration management, and port emergency management. Secondly, the phenomenon of information silo is obvious. Thirdly, the information channels of communication among the shipping and ports authority, the port management department and the port enterprises are poor, and so on. As a consequence of these problems will be solved, the information services capacity of port management will be improve effectively in the region.Aiming at these existing issues, the author's main task is to analysis,design, implement and test the three subsystems of this management information system,which are the management system of port security, dangerous cargo declaration, and port emergency. In the first place, this article analyzed and compared with the mainstream development framework of Struts2and Spring which are based on J2EE (Java2Platform, Enterprise Edition) platform, and came to the conclusion that Spring MVC(Pattern of Model, View and Controller) is more suitable to the construction of this system. Secondly, this article presents the architecture and framework of this system, and elaborates system framework base on MVC pattern by applying technologies of Spring, Hibernate, JSON-RPC (JavaScript Object Notation; Remote Procedure Call Protocol) and so on. And then, according to the demand investigation,the article made a business analysis,detiled design and implementation for the three subsystems respectively:the management system of port security, dangerous cargo declaration, and port emergency. Finally, by writing test plan and coding test case, the article takes test for these subsystems, and gets the result in line with expectation.This system put the workflow into each business function, through the system's implementation, problems are solved such as poor communication among the port departments, information silo and so forth, which led to improve work efficiency substantially. Furthermore, this system has many distinctive features, such as excellent flexibility, good extensibility, and universality of cross-platform etc. Through the realization of key techniques and Spring MVC framework, the description of business requirement, the detailed design, the test method and result, which can be took as references for the similar web development platforms.
