Nd:YAG crystal plays an important role in scientific research, industrial manufacturing, medical care, military applications and other areas. The Nd:YAG crystal as the laser gain medium is not only for single wavelength high-power laser output, such as,1064nm, 1319nm and 946nm, but also get high-power multi-wavelength laser output, Such as the 1064nm and 946nm,1064nm and 1319nm,1319nm and 1338nm, etc. Compared to other bands, spectral line emission of peak emission cross section of 1064nm is much larger than 1319nm, it is not easy to achieve laser stable output at the same time. With dual-wavelength lasers researching in-depth, research areas of dual-wavelength have higher technical requirements in laser output power, repetition rate, beam quality, pulse width. Currently, Q-switching technique in Nd:YAG 1064nm/1319nm dual-wavelength laser focus on acousto-optic Q-switch and passive Q-switch, in the dual-wavelength electro-optic Q-technology is a blank. The main study can be summarized as follows: (1) The dual-wavelength laser pump threshold formula for this lasers was derived by lasers pump threshold formula, and through numerical simulation using matlab software, analysis how emission cross section ratio of Nd:YAG 1064nm and 1319nm influenced the dual-wavelength laser output.(2) Reseach the impact of oscillation of 1338nm and other unwanted lines with dual-wavelength laser output, by comparing the method of controlling several unwanted lines, ultimately determined a reasonable and effective method to control unwanted line.(3) Design the program of electro-optic Q-switch for Nd:YAG 1064nm/1319nm dual-wavelength lasers, by comparing several electro-optic Q-crystal, finally selected a reasonable Q-crystals.(4) Based on theoretical analysis, reseach the method how to control 1064nm strong line in the process of electro-optic Q-switch of Nd:YAG 1064nm/1319nm dual-wavelength lasers, and preliminary determined inhibitory effect by simulation approach(5) Based on the theoretical analysis and experimental design, studied Nd:YAG1064nm /1319nm dual-wavelength laser static and dynamic experiments respectively.1064nm /1319nm dual-wavelength Static laser maximum output energy are both 98mJ when the puming voltage is 800V, the output energy ratio is 1:1.When the puming voltage is 750V,maximum Q-swiched output energy of 1064nm/1319nm dual-wavelength laser were 4.6mJ and 8.7mJ by bias voltage electro-optic Q-switched-technology,the pulse width of 1064nm is 400 ns, the pulse width of 1319nm is 80 ns.
