The Research On Decorative Significance Of Chinese Antique Furniture In Modern Interior Space

With the higher development of social civilization and increasing substance of people's lives, Chinese Antique Furniture has become a cultural decoration in interior space.This thesis combined the manifestations which Chinese Antique Furniture in indoor environment with the lots of case analysis,and then got decorative significance about Chinese Antique Furniture in modern interior space.In the end, I summarized some methods and principles,which guided practice. Details are as follows:Firstly, I analyzed the overall spcace. The elements of the overall space include: the form of indoor space, furniture, color, lighting and indoor furnishings. The role of the each constituent elements of the interior space in the "costume" was described by which the function of these elements in the interior space:The spatial form is the foundation;The Chinese Antique Furniture is the protagonist; The color as the soul of the overall space, which to grasp the emotional tone of the overall scene; Lighting as a means to create a scene effect,which inject a fresh element of the actual situation, compared to the overall scene, in that the interior space will become more vitality.Therefore, I summarized the ways and means of interpretation of the various elements in the scene of the modern interior space:Secondary space modeling can deepen the space theme;The high-quality "choreography" effect was created by the help of different colors and lighting. The whole scene become graceful as a result of decorative furnishings.Secondly, I analyzed the local space. First of all, to elaborate the environment which full of harmony and unity, the environment which full of pleasure and leisure, the environment of buddhism, the romantic environment. Then I summarized methods about local space, which including relying on other substance to get one atmosphere, or depending other stuff on local space, or using other furnishings to obtain atmosphere. In the end, I proposed two principle for creating local scene:"To choose suitable place and suited furniture for display" and "To remove complicated furnishings and apt simple decorations".Thirdly, I analyzed Chinese Antique Furniture as decorative furnishings. I expound the charm of Chinese Antique Furniture in the material, the form and the meaning. Then generalize the methods which about Chinese Antique Furniture as a"wooden sculpture":the principle of unity, the principle of stressing the material and the spirit of the Chinese Antique Furniture, but the sprit is more important. Last but not the least, combining with the principles and methods of the above to make some practice creation. It not only verified the decorative meaning of Chinese Antique Furniture in the modern indoor environment,but also proved the feasibility of these principles and methods.Via understanding the decorative significance of the Chinese Antique Furniture in the modern space environment, which make Chinese Antique Furniture and modern indoor environment in a personalized, humane aesthetic balance to get perfect embodiment.
