| Energy is the important factor of human survival and development and the important material foundation of national economic and social development. With the development of China's national economy and the acceleration of urbanization, the energy shortage and increasing carbon dioxide emissions cause climate change. It is the problem to be solved in the process of economic development in China. The economical use of energy, improving energy efficiency, reducing energy consumption, the developing low-carbon economy and promoting energy conservation are the key to China's sustainable development strategy. At this stage, the China's building energy consumption has the case of large volume, rapid growth and low efficiency of energy use. So reducing the building energy consumption and promoting the building energy efficiency will become the important part of energy strategy.The paper focuses on the following topic:the urgent situation of China's energy consumption, building energy efficiency, energy saving and emissions reducing, economic sustainable development strategy; overview of building energy-saving technology and choice of building envelope insulation technology; introducing building insulation material described the classification, comparison and choice; research and development of exterior thermal insulation composite systems based on molded expanded polystyrene, including: system requirement, material selection, product development of adhesive mortar and base coat, insulation system components, exterior thermal insulation system application and technology. According China industry standard and application requirement, we developed the exterior thermal insulation composite system based on molded expanded polystyrene for fire safety and good insulation performance and increasing knowledge and understanding for exterior thermal insulation system. It contributed to building energy-saving technology. |
