In recent years, electric actuators for terminal equipment of industrial control system, gradually replace mechanical actuators, as an integral unit. With the continuous improvement of production control accuracy and stability, the traditional electric actuator can no longer meet their requirements, new product development is imminent.This thesis analysised and studied the research status of electric actuators in domestic and foreign, combined with a actuator business functional requirements, introduces a dedicated controller MC33035. electric actuator is developed with drive unit, control unit, on-line digital display.This smart actuator developed mainly by hardware and software components. Hardware structure includes driver module and the main control module. The main control module includes ADuC831 minimum system microcontroller, remote infrared control transmitter and receiver circuits, display circuit, position detection circuit, analog input and output circuit. Driven module mainly is composed by the MC33035 and MC33039 circuit and the inverter module of MPM3003 circuit.The system software is modular programming using C language whilch is developed in Keil C51 environment, with good stability and portability.Eventually the entire system is debugged in laboratory. Practice shows that the accuracy of smart actuators, control performance and stability have reached a higher level, that are in line with the technical requirements and performance indicators.
