As an important class of heterocyclic compounds, triazole compounds have been widely used in pesticides, pharmaceuticals, life science, materials science, molecular biology areas etc; Triazole schiff-base derivatives, an important class of organic ligands, which have special structure of the C=N- bond. So they can form complexes with many metal ions through coordination bonds. Recently, schiff-base and its complexes have made great progress in catalysts, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, corrosion inhibitors and new materials fields. Therefore it is very significant for the development of coordination chemistry on the synthesis and research of the new schiff-base and its metal complexes. In the paper, by using ethyl benzoate and benzoic acid methyl ester as the raw material, we synthesized two kinds of 1,2,4-triazole via hydrazinolysis, salify, snap ring reaction. Four kinds of single-head sulfides were synthesized from self-made 1,2,4-triazole compounds. Then a series of new 1,2,4-triazole schiff-base derivatives were synthesized by the condensation of sulfide derivatives with different aromatic aldehydes. Their structures were characterized by 1H NMR, MS and IR. The results showes that their structures are accorded with the target compounds. We optimized the process conditions of 1,2,4- triazole compound via single factor optimization method, and the optimium conditions is: the ratio of the raw material is 1:80, reaction time 4h, reaction temperature 115℃.We used single factor optimization method to optimize the synthesis conditions for schiff-base compound, and obtained the optimium conditions. The ratio of the raw material is 1:2.5, reaction time 5h, reaction temperature 125℃.Four kinds of triazole schiff-base zinc complexes were prepared through coordination reaction of triazole schiff-base derivatives with zinc. Their structures were characterized by 1H NMR. We investigated their optical properties by fluorescence emission spectra. Compared with ligand, fluorescence emission wavelengths of schiff-base zinc complexes have obviously redshift. The center transition metal Zn (II) can strengthen fluorescence of the ligand.
