Dispensing technology has been widely used in micro-electronic encapsulation industry. The development of encapsulation requires a more advanced dispensing technology with higher speed and frequency, smaller resin, better consistency and wider adaptability. A high-speed dispensing platform on which jetting valves with different driven methods can be set is built in this paper. It can realize both contact dispensing and non-contact dispensing.Considering the functional demands of high-speed dispensing technology, core components of control system were selected, and corresponding interface circuit diagrams were designed with drafted parameters.Hardware platform of three axes linkage high-speed dispensing control system was established.Functional properties and usage of motion controller were further studied.Dispensing function interface and accurate pulse-wide controller were designed to guarantee high-speed dispensing.According to process characteristics of high-speed dispensing technology, combined with functional properties of motion controller, general structure and function division of software was determined, and critical problems during software development, such as data read-write of motion controller in WINDOWS,multithread and multitask scheduling and automatic program of machine code, were all solved.On the basis of these problems, software was totally modular programed.The high-speed dispensing control software, owning some good features,such as friendly man-machine interface, complete function and extending easily, has practical value.The realization method in different dispensing modes of dot and line, two basic graphic elements in dispensing, are not the same.Contact dispensing and non-contact dispensing were both analyzed in this paper. According to project specifications,dispensing motion of dot and line in the different dispensing modes were planed respectively, and the results of preliminary experiment show that the plan is scientific and feasible.Three sorts of valves were online debugged on the high-speed dispensing control system, during which hardware and software mistakes were corrected. Last but not least, Repetitive positioning accuracy of platform was measured by CCD laser displacement sensor. Results show that the control system satisfies positioning accuracy and function needs of high-speed fluid dispensing.
