First is the 3GPP conform the SIP as the kernel protocol of 3G mobile communication globe system, then makes the entire equipment manufacturer obey to the SIP protocol to ensure the interconnected networks. The second is windows system changed its netmeeting software from h.323 to SIP, it means the most valuable communication software even instance message tools was changed to follow SIP. For telecom network and Internet, SIP became the direction of future network's development for flexibility of to do business. SIP is a kind of telecom signal protocol, so it has a characteristic of complex architecture as nature. It can provide well transparency for existing PSTN business.
