Logistics Information Management System is information management system specifically designed for using in enterprise logistics management (including third-party logistics), it is the computer management information system applications in the field of logistics. Its oriented application objects are very extensive, covering many groups including manufacturers, suppliers, retailers, third-party logistics companies. The use of logistics information management system can effectivly improve the operational status of enterprise,and can help the people to leave from the heavy hand operation, it makes the various links of business operations run in a more orderly, rational and efficient.In this paper, the General Logistics Management System is mainly applied to manufacturing enterprises and affiliated suppliers. The system uses a hierarchical B / S network architecture, learn from the advanced thinking of the supply chain, functional design reasonable, and can completly meet the needs of SMEs.The function modules of the system include warehouse management, transportation management, statistical analysis and systems management. Here accounts management and customer management are not independent, are temporarily put in the transport management and warehouse management. Accounts management and customer management will be considered as a separate division when required in the future to increase functionality. The system covers the operation of the main enterprise logistics links, while providing a wealth of statistical analysis charts. In practical application change and expand could be done in accordance with appropriate business needs.The system is easy to maintain, easy scalability, easy operation, high efficiency and safety features. Because all technologys are open source, customers needn't pay the additional costs to purchase third-party software products. By using the system, enterprise can greatly reduce duplication and error probability and raise the work efficiency, accelerate the circulation of information flow and capital flow, optimize the allocation of resources, enhance core competitiveness.
