Pulitzer 10 Years (1998-2007) Investigative Reporting Works

Traced back to the very beginning of investigative reporting in the USA. Guiding you from the "Muckraking" , the reporting of Pentagon and that of Vietnam War, and to the award of Investigative Reporting of Pulitzer Prizes.Among those numerous definitions of investigative reporting, I chose the most scientific one, extracting keys words. From the studying of the definition carefully to the analysis of 10 years' of investigative reporting in Pulitzer Prize, educed two apparent characteristics and seven hidden characteristics for Chinese counterparts. And meanwhile pointing out the weak points in ten years' reportings.Through analysing the status of Chinese and American investigative reporting, to see if the rules we draw up are applicable for all, and to find out the communication and mutual complementarity possibilities between East and West. To provide the mirror for the media to build the socialist harmonious society in China.
