With high speed development of UAVS, as the central part of the UAVS,GCS (ground control station) also have a continuous development. Combined with the project of "design of simulation platform for UAV ground half- physical verify system", design the functions of GCS not only from the function but also from the capability, and give a particular description of these functions and capabilities, actualize the design of GCS .control station of GCS, data communication and correspond work of each module in the GCS, at the same time apply the GCS to the UAV ground half- physical verify system and also get much more fine impression.First, the paper begin with the macrocosm of the UAV ground half- physical verify system, give a generalize description of the system, based on the description, summarize the functional and capabilitical require of the GCS which UAV ground half- physical verify system take. With these requirement, advance three projects for the GCS, choose the suitable one from the three as achieve project.Then, through the completed plan of Ground control station, this thesis detailed describe the realizable project about software and hardware of Ground control station.. The design of the Ground control station which is the most import part been showed at the end in this article. The control station qua the important part of the whole Ground control station, besides create the mechanism of the data communication between the control station and other module of the GCS system , also with responsibility for inside modules communication correspond work data arrangement and other functions in the GCS. Combined with the different module have different function, introduce design of software and hardware of the control station particularly and the frame of the entire software system. Then, though the description of the function module advance programme flow for each module.At last, with many simulation experiment, give the capability analyze of control station, though the important module capability analyze, show the result analysis of these module. Then with the capability analyze of the whole system, get the capability of control station, verify each function and advantage of the control station.
