On The Modernity Of Acinetobacter Baumannii

This thesis will discuss the characteristics of Bauman's modernity in order: The first chapter stresses the intellectual's practice, as the subject of aesthetic modernity, the intellectual's role and position have converted and exchanged, which disclosed the relevant characteristics of modernity, i.e. from the modernity's legislator to the postmodernity's interpreter. Actually, the intellectual has always two roles: the legislator is leading role in modernity, the interpreter is leading role in postmodernity.In the second chapter, through the perspective to the holocaust, Bauman has displayed the hidden possibility of modernity. The modernity is a two-blade sword, it can not only benefit but also impair itself, which inspires us to reflect and criticize the modernity.The third chapter discusses the ambivalence in modernity, modernity is under the way forever and never realized, it only can solve its contradictions at the expense of new contradictions taking place, which means that it can produce its"poison"and"antidote"at the same time.The forth chapter stresses the liquid modernity, in which the heavy modernity has changed into light modernity, the value of space has been taken place by time, meanwhile, the"instantaneity"overcomes the"durability", this change is so important that it can directly influence the process of culture and literature creation and acception.
