China's Early Comedy Film Aesthetics

As an attempt for the aesthetic explication of the comedic films in early China ,the dissertation elevates the detailed technicality up to an aesthetic analyzation ,to clear the blurred conception ,to dust the historic mud and to encourage the concerned studies.three parts consist of the content :1,with the combination of the western comedy history , comedy theory and the Chinese comedy history and typical Chinese comic spirit ,under the influence of the pace of the time ,the part tends to find the connection of the comedy with the art of film .2,A periodical survey,sort and historical analysis from the aesthetic angle about the early Chinese comedic films (1905 — 1950)is the thesis of the part.3,Final part is concerned with the focus,technique,style and the sense of comic with some element of sadness of these sort of films. The view point of the dissertation:The development of the early comedic films is a growing process with the modernization of the comic sense of people .Apart from the imitation of the western same sort films,the newly art of film is more a mirror of Chinese people's own comic sense under a certain historical background, reflecting the heavy sadness with a light comic face ,the mild and honest character of a nation .By way of wit, humor, jokes, funny, appearance, the films make people laugh and transcend the realistic life in the laughters .A historicexistence with vital life,these comedic films have their own special charm and aesthetic taste among the world comedic films.
