| China and Japan has been trading with each other for a long time, and agricultural trade has developed rapidly. Japan is China's largest target country for agricultural export, while China is Japan's second largest target country for agricultural products import, next to the U.S. China is a net exporter in the China-Japan agricultural trade, accounting for over 90% of the Japan's agricultural import. Agricultural export is an important part of our country's foreign trade, which can earn foreign exchange, expand export and promote the agricultural modernization. However, as the Japanese food safety requirements and regulations, and quarantine inspection standards become stricter, China's agricultural export to Japan has been impeded. In addition, the current global financial crisis has a great effect on China's agricultural export. Our country should take measures to prevent risks, enhance the technical inspection standards, and raise the productivity, so that the agricultural export risks could be reduced and the agricultural firms can cope with the strict access standards.In this paper, the research achievements home and abroad are adopted, and the fundamental realities of the two countries' agriculture are discussed. The development potential of two countries' agriculture, the general situation and the current situation of China-Japan agricultural trade are discussed. This text analyzes the problem and obstacles China has encountered during the agricultural trade with Japan, and discusses the correlative factors, such as the global financial crisis. In the end, corresponding solutions and policy suggestions are recommended, and China's export prospects are forecasted. |
