With the rapid development of electronic information technology and people's living standard has improved steadily, the rate of replacement of electrical and electronic equipments is speeding up, resulting in a large number of e-waste generation. As the WEEE industry contains rich economic and social benefits, many countries and regions in the world are trying hard to make extensive researches in the WEEE's recovery and reuse. China is in the initial stage of socialist modernization construction, the urgent need of economic development makes us far behind in recovery theoretical research, system development and technology application of the WEEE. Recovery of WEEE is the initial stage of the whole system, but the country has not yet formed a reasonable waste recovery system of WEEE. Tianjin now has the advantage in the area of WEEE's recovery and disposal that other provinces can not matched, thus this thesis made a systematic and in-depth study of the WEEE's recovery system in Tianjin in order to promote the development in this field as well as in the country.A detailed analysis on the recovery status both in developed countries and regions such as the EU, the United States, Japan, Taiwan, and mainland was studied in this thesis, especially extensive and in-depth study of Tianjin based on the full investigation. Second, the thesis made a summary of the research in the relative fields as the solid theoretical basis.The accurately predict of the amount of WEEE is quite necessary for the establishment of the recovery system in Tianjin. This thesis first calculated the sales of the EEE in the last few years, then identified the life of the EEE, and at last using a sub-time pro-rata method to forecast the amount of WEEE in Tianjin in the next 5 years, and its spatial and temporal distribution is studied.Based on the circular economy and the reverse logistics model of WEEE, this thesis build a recovery network system in Tianjin which is made of 3 kinds of facilities:recovery station, storage/testing center, processing plants, etc. And it explored the build pattern of the recovery system of WEEE, theoretical studies have shown that it is suited to the needs of Tianjin.The establishment of WEEE's recovery system needs a system of laws, regulations and policies to support. This thesis made an in-depth study from different angles both in the country and in Tianjin. Finally, made an entire summary of this thesis and put forward the direction for further research.
